No one ever knows what will happen tomorrow..

As you might know, every Tuesday, I had to go to a General Practitioner, either sit in with her or go to a home visit whereby I get to talk to patients personally. I was so lucky to be in a group as a local student with a car.So, every week, we meet up and go to our GP placement by car. As usual, we chat about our studies and lectures and commented about the 50 year-old female anorexia nervosa (eating disorder) patient who was invited to talk about her experiences. it was really sad if you were there listening to her. Then we started to talk about the hot topic, a guy, 1st year medic student, passed away last friday due to bacterial meningitis. I heard he was in the lecture on Monday and was no longer with us on Friday. I felt sad for the news and pity that he was a really nice guy. Besides, he's a brilliant medical candidate as he's a mature student whereby he had finished a degree before this. Eerything was so so sad.
Suddenly, "BANG!!!!" we knock into another car which I presume that lady was doing an illegal U-turn..Our air bag inflated and that women knocked her head on the stearing. And our car was steaming for a moment. Gosh, my seatbelt hurts me..and now I do have some bruises at my abdominal part where the seatbelt was. But, it was no big deal, we quickly get out of the car as I had a feeling that the car would blow off..But, luckily it didn't..Thank god.. Fortunately, the women was fine too but our car was seriously "injured". I really pity my friend, she was so nervous as it was her 1st accident in her life. But, I notice a big difference between UK and Malaysia, which is, everything is so efficient here..or I should say everyone is so helpful here. There's a lady who came over and ask us about our destination and she offered to help us call the GP as we didn't have the GP's number with us. Then a guy, out of no where took a few photo of our cars in the middle of te road and offered to send the pictures to e-mail to my frined. Then the policeman came over and take note of the driver's identity and those usual stuff.. Another guys, holding a cup of coffee volunteered to be the witness of the whole incident. Surprisingly, we heard the siren of the ambulance from far and it parked right beside us. We were shocked and we tried to convince ourselves that the ambulance came for some other reasons, but, wrong, wrong, wrong! They came towards us.
Haha..I wish to ask them to treat our poor, badly "injured" car. But, since everyone is fine, they left us after that. Then we managed to slowly drive the car to a side and leave it there for some company to tow it away. As we decided to take a taxi to our GP place, the policeman offered to send us there using his police car..Wow!!That's really a new experience!!and the car is really big and comfy..
Then, 2 out of 3 of us are supposed to do the home visit today. which is my turn to visit. We visited a Parkistan women with sick kids and died husband. She also suffering from depression and arthritis (some joint and bone problems). But, she was quite reluctant to tell us her stories, when she started talking about her late husband, she burst out with tears. Gosh, we made a patient cry.. So, we quickly huddle around her and hug her to make her feel better..

I don't know why...but, too many things are happening lately, which most of those are sad, sad, and sad!!!

So, we must appreciate our lives, no one ever knows what will happen tomorrow..

PS : The car was there for 2 days before the towing company took it away.Haha..

Halloween!

It had been quite a busy life here.. till you can barely breathe. Well, finally, I've got some rest over last weekend. I did nothing except enjoying, no worries about studies, lectures and tutorials.. Haha..That's because it's Halloween!!! But that's really not the point. The point is that he was in Bristol last weekend and obviously we celebrated Halloween together in my student hall. There's a party held in my hal wich cost 3pounds per person. Well, that's for the 3 course menu. The appetizer and dessert was not bad in fact I love the ice-cream cake as dessert. But, the main course was kind of ..terrible.. I mean it's tasteless.. Haha..
Anyways, it's a Halloween formal, whereby we could choose either to wear Halloween costumes or formal dresses. Hence, I chose to dress formally because I feel really stupid dressing like a ghost or mummy or vampire or witch. And I thought he wouldn't want to walk by my side if i were to dress as something horrible.. I guess I'll scare him away.
So, my dear 2nd year medic senior, from Indonesia didn't allow me to go out just like that, so, she brought her hair spray and did a mess with my hair which made me like a horrible wicked witch!!! My God!!! I was about to cry(nah..) as I've never went out that horribly before and I was very reluctant to leave the room. So, zhen shan took some pins and pin up my hair, which made me look a lot a lot a lot better. Then, I'm done!!!
So, we went down for dinner and then went to the bar in my hall.. There's supposed to be a DJ there so that we could dance and enjoy ourselves. BUT!! sad sad sad.. Most of them had went out to the REAL pubs or bars or clubs. So, there's not enough crowd.. But, anyways, it was boring but fine.
Around 11pm, we decided to go to the bar, as there's a senior from my college(wong shou lee) who loves clubbing brought us to the Halloween party organised by the Malaysian and Singaporean society. So, we went.. and it was equally boring.. Actually, I wasn't supposed to be in there as I'm still young..hehe..under 18, not legal yet.. But, they only checked our membership card. So, I managed to go in..
Therefore, after hanging around for an hour, we went back lor..
Though the day wasn't as exciting but..got him mar.. so.. boleh tahan lor..=P
